VINAY HARIANI RESIDENCE AT LOD TUNDUH, UBUD BALI
Vinay Hariani Residence is a private residential concept developed in 2022 in the Lod Tunduh area of Ubud, Bali. Conceived as a personal retreat within a semi-rural setting, the project responds to Ubud’s lush landscape, cultural atmosphere, and slower pace of life through a calm and nature-oriented architectural approach.
As Concept Architect, the design establishes a clear spatial vision that emphasizes privacy, openness, and connection to the surrounding environment. Living spaces are oriented to capture views of greenery and natural light, while courtyards, terraces, and transitional spaces are integrated to encourage natural ventilation and seamless indoor–outdoor living.
Architecturally, the residence adopts a contemporary tropical language informed by local context. Clean, restrained forms are combined with shaded openings, natural materials, and soft landscape integration to create a home that feels grounded, comfortable, and timeless. The composition prioritizes human scale and experiential quality over formal expression.
As a concept-stage project, Vinay Hariani Residence reflects an approach to residential design that values place sensitivity, lifestyle-driven planning, and enduring simplicity, translating the client’s aspirations into a home that is both personal and deeply connected to its Ubud setting.
