VGE Resort Pejeng is a resort concept developed in 2025, located in the culturally rich and naturally serene area of Pejeng, Gianyar, Bali. The project is envisioned as a destination resort immersed in landscape, where architecture, water, and greenery are composed to create a calm and experiential hospitality environment.

The masterplan is organized as a clustered resort village, with accommodation blocks, shared amenities, and recreational spaces arranged around a central water body. This large lagoon-style pool becomes the heart of the resort—both visually and socially—connecting guest rooms, lounging areas, and dining facilities while enhancing microclimate comfort through evaporative cooling.

Architecturally, the resort adopts a contemporary tropical expression enriched with local material sensibilities. Layered building masses, deep balconies, and shaded corridors respond to Bali’s climate while maintaining human scale. Stone textures, warm-toned finishes, and articulated façades provide depth and rhythm, allowing the architecture to feel grounded within Pejeng’s rural landscape.

Guest circulation is designed to be intuitive and leisurely, with pathways framed by landscape, water, and open pavilions. Public and semi-public areas are carefully positioned to encourage interaction without compromising privacy, while accommodation units enjoy clear orientation toward views, light, and natural ventilation.

As Concept Architect, the focus of VGE Resort Pejeng is on crafting a resort experience that balances operational clarity, spatial richness, and a strong sense of place. The project reflects an approach to hospitality design where architecture acts as a backdrop to nature—supporting relaxation, cultural resonance, and long-term destination value within Bali’s evolving resort landscape.
