PRIVATE VILLAS AT KELATING TABANAN – BALI
Kailasha Villa is a private villa concept development envisioned in 2022 for a coastal site in Kelating, Tabanan, Bali. As Concept Architect, the project was shaped around the idea of creating a serene, low-density retreat that responds sensitively to Kelating’s natural landscape—characterized by black-sand beaches, open horizons, and a quieter rural atmosphere compared to southern Bali.
The concept master plan emphasizes privacy, orientation, and connection to nature, arranging villas to capture ocean views, sea breezes, and natural light while maintaining generous separation between units. Landscape is treated as an integral element of the design, acting as a buffer, a visual connector, and a key component of the living experience.
Architecturally, Kailasha Villa adopts a contemporary tropical language with a restrained, elegant expression. Open-plan living spaces, shaded terraces, and seamless indoor–outdoor transitions are central to the concept, allowing daily life to unfold in close dialogue with the surrounding environment. Natural materials and calm proportions reinforce a timeless, grounded atmosphere appropriate to Kelating’s understated coastal character.
As a concept-stage project, Kailasha Villa represents an approach to private villa development that prioritizes place, tranquility, and experiential quality—offering a refined residential vision rooted in Bali’s west-coast landscape and designed for long-term living or private retreat use.
