Radisson Blu & Radisson Red Mandalika is a dual-brand resort concept developed in 2016 for Lot H3 within the Mandalika tourism zone, Lombok. Conceived as a 420-room integrated hospitality destination, the project brings together two distinct brand personalities—Radisson Blu (refined, upscale) and Radisson Red (contemporary, lifestyle-driven)—within a single masterplanned site.

As Concept Architect, the scope focused on establishing a cohesive vision, site strategy, and experiential framework that allows both brands to coexist while maintaining clear identities. The masterplan organizes shared amenities—arrival, leisure, dining, and event spaces—around a legible circulation spine, while separating accommodation clusters to support brand differentiation, privacy, and operational efficiency.

Architecturally, the concept adopts a contemporary tropical resort language responsive to Lombok’s coastal climate. Massing is articulated to optimize sea views, capture prevailing breezes, and provide shaded outdoor living areas. Landscape and open spaces are integral to the experience, mediating between built form and beachfront while creating social nodes and quiet retreats aligned with each brand’s character.

Positioned within Mandalika’s emerging international resort district, the project demonstrates an approach to large-scale, multi-brand hospitality planning—balancing market positioning, climate responsiveness, and place-making to deliver a commercially robust yet contextually grounded resort destination.
