Etiene Frai Villa Residence is a private residential villa located in the tranquil village of Pererenan, Canggu, Bali. Conceived as a personal retreat, the villa reflects a calm, contemporary tropical lifestyle that balances privacy, comfort, and a strong connection to its natural surroundings.
The design responds sensitively to Pererenan’s semi-rural context—characterized by rice fields, coastal breezes, and a slower pace of life. Spatial planning emphasizes openness and natural flow, with living areas oriented to capture daylight, cross-ventilation, and views of landscaped gardens. Transitions between indoor and outdoor spaces are carefully articulated to support everyday living in Bali’s tropical climate.
Architecturally, the villa adopts a refined contemporary language softened by natural materials and warm textures. Clean forms are combined with shaded terraces, courtyards, and open-plan living spaces, creating an atmosphere that is relaxed yet sophisticated. The composition prioritizes human scale and understated elegance rather than overt formality.
