Gabriel Residence is a private urban home located in the prestigious Menteng district of Jakarta. Conceived as a refined family residence, the project responds to Menteng’s established residential character while introducing a contemporary interpretation of tropical urban living.
The design emphasizes privacy, spatial clarity, and comfort within a dense city context. Careful planning organizes the house into well-defined zones for living, entertaining, and retreat, allowing daily activities to flow naturally while maintaining a sense of calm and order. Natural light and ventilation are strategically introduced through courtyards, openings, and transitional spaces to enhance indoor comfort and reduce reliance on artificial climate control.
Architecturally, the residence adopts a timeless contemporary language, balancing clean lines and modern proportions with warm materials and subtle detailing. The façade and interior spaces are designed to be understated yet expressive, respecting the surrounding neighborhood while reflecting the client’s personal lifestyle and preferences.
