Located in one of the Maldives’ less developed northern atolls, a resort of this type would typically respond to the area’s pristine marine setting, coral lagoons, and natural landscape by arranging guest accommodations, amenities, and recreational facilities to maximize oceanfront views, privacy, and environmental engagement. Conceptual planning for similar island resorts in these atolls often includes water villas, beachfront suites, restaurants, wellness facilities, and multiple leisure activities.
A defining feature of the “golf resort” concept is the inclusion of a golf course and related recreational infrastructure integrated into the island’s master plan.
