The Resort Redevelopment at Medhufinolhu, Maldives is a visionary hospitality project involving the redevelopment of a luxury island resort on Medhufinolhu Island, Maldives. Conceptualized under the Reethi Rah Resort identity, the project envisions the creation of 120 thoughtfully designed suites set within the pristine natural environment of the Indian Ocean.
Medhufinolhu is home to one of the Maldives’ most iconic luxury resorts—One&Only Reethi Rah—renowned for its expansive private villas, world-class service, and lush tropical settings along white sandy beaches and turquoise lagoons. The redevelopment aims to reinforce and elevate the resort’s position in Maldives hospitality by enhancing accommodation, guest experience, and integration with the island’s landscape, while responding to contemporary design, comfort, and sustainability expectations.
